I use the Curl Defining Gel to lay down my edges. I can attest to the fact that the Curl Defining Gel give my hair a more firm feel. This works well during the Winter months when I wear head coverings to keep my head warm. I wear a short dyed cut and use a sponge 🧽 to accent my curls to the fullest. The greatest benefit is that I only use a minimal amount of the product which helps with longevity over time.

I like this defining gel. I used it on my foster kids hair and it stayed moisturized and looked amazing for a week. For my hair….it made it crunchy and hard with white residue. I think it’s operator error and I just need to figure out what I need to do to my hair to get it to work best for me. But I love the smell of this product and how well it works on twisted hair.

My 3b/3c hair stays curly in spots and frizzes at the top, but this stuff held up pretty well between washes. It kept my bang area from turning into a fluffy mess even though I pulled my hair up three different ways on after the first application, and it refreshes with additional product and water well. I can usually lengthen the rest of my curl with some tugging and teasing, but this stuff fought back. Way better than expected.

I really like this gel. When I use the shampoo and conditioner duo and use this gel after...the definition of my coils come THROUGHHHHH. I was shocked at how easily it happened. Definitely keeping this in my stash for days I want to do a wash n go.
