How Herbs & Healing Became My Assignment
At the age of 16 years old, I had a near death experience that would change my life and alter my future forever. A pill had aspirated into my lungs and I quite literally was knocking on death’s door. Before I knew, I was passed out on the floor at the hospital and begging my doctor to save my life. I remember my doctor telling my parents to prepare to say goodbye because I wouldn’t make it through the night. By the grace of God, I’m still here.
What I didn’t realize at the time was that God was calling me to a higher purpose, a bigger assignment. After my near death experience I switched from taking western medicine (as I was extremely traumatized) to studying herbalism, natural remedies and holistic health. Not only did I make the switch from western medicine but I also made the switch to clean beauty as I noticed that so many harmful chemicals were in my everyday products. God slowly started revealing formulas and ideas in my dreams for products so I quit my job as a teacher to focus on this assignment. To this day, we’re a faith led business on a mission to provide the best quality products infused with nature’s healing properties. What was meant to take me out, instead, rooted me in purpose-and this brand is my way of helping others heal from the inside out. I truly believe that every product I create is rooted in the healing that saved my life and the herbs that helped me rebuild it.
